Emma Schwartz is an Emmy Award-winning documentary filmmaker based in Brooklyn, New York with a special love for human rights and investigative journalism.

As a producer, she shepherds projects from development through post-production, crafting cinematic, character-driven narratives with emotional depth and journalistic rigor. Whether combing through hundreds of hours of archival material, conducting interviews or reporting in the field, she follows stories wherever they lead - from the corn fields of Iowa to the olive groves of the West Bank.

She holds a master’s degree in journalism from the UC Berkeley Graduate School of Journalism and brings a strong foundation of journalistic ethics to every project. Her approach prioritizes accuracy, accountability, and the protection of sources, both on and off camera.

Her work has been featured by leading documentary and news platforms and recognized by major journalism and film institutions.
